Zero Friction Golf Tees

by Mike Sigers on September 2, 2005

I’ve been noticing that of late, the winners on the PGA and Nationwide Tours are playing the Zero Friction Golf Tee.
Has anyone else tried these ?

Shoot me an email or leave a comment here so we can all learn whether or not this is a real improvement, a fad or a phenomenon.

When I get back from the next couple of days of business travel, I’ll investigate this a little further. While I’m researching this, I’ll hope to continue the good golf I’ve been playing lately.

I have played these tees and I think they are great. The ball sits on top of the three prongs very clean. Also, they are very durable and a good value for $4.99 for a 50 pack. I tried the Epoch Tee and found them not only bulky, but they break pretty easy. They also $4.99 for 15 tees! I am going to continue to play the Zero Friction since I love the design and it is a great value.

Bill,

Thanks for that info !

I can’t wait to give them a thorough test and see if my drives land in some unfamiliar places. Like closer to the green and farther from the tee box.

Where do you play most of your golf ?

Any chance you can give us any other reviews or info ?
