Over at ESPN, Jason Sobel wrote an article that suggets Adam Scott may be the one who finally rivals Tiger Woods.
I’m not sure I’d lay that on a young man who took til November, after Tiger had put his clubs away for the year, to finally win a tournament on the PGA Tour.
Does he have Tigers old swing coach ? Yeah.
Notice the word old, or former. If El Tigre thought he was the man, he’d still have him. ‘Nuff said.
Does he have a swing good enough to challenge Tiger ? Maybe.
Is his mind strong enough to challenge Tiger ? Maybe.
Will he ever win a tournament with Tiger in the field ? Maybe.
Until then, he’s just another wannabe.
To read Jason’s article, use this link, and I highly suggest it, because he’s a great writer of golfing articles, even if he’s been too quick to annoint Scott as a rival. After all, a rival has to win every now and then or it isn’t a rivalry.
