In The End, The Best Golfer Won
At the end of the FedEx Cup rainbow sits a pot of gold named Eldrick “Tiger” Woods.
The Best Golfer On The Planet By Far. Easily. Comfortably. Totally.
He won the year-long event and earned the $10 million prize with talent, hard work and mental fortitude.
He won the Tour Championship at East Lake, home of the legendary Bobby Jones and I have to imagine that Mr. Jones would be delighted and proud to have such a man as champion.
Congrats to Tiger and Steve Williams, too. I’d say the best golfer probably has the best caddie as well.
Now, let’s get back to our regularly scheduled golf programming.

Yeah, I flipped the TV on halfway through Sunday’s round, and the camera panned to Zach Johnson and I heard one of the announcers say something to the effect of “here’s Zach, in a battle for second…” and I didn’t have to see the scoreboard to know that Tiger had some ridiculous lead.

If Tiger wasn’t there, it would have been an exciting finish, Stephen.
But he was there and he demolished the field…again.
Beautiful search engine you linked to Stephen.
I searched for the term Kentucky and saw that you could use some of my photos and reviews.
Let me know if I can help.
I wonder if this is how all of basketball felt when Jordan was playing? At least his was not an individual sport. You think the others on the tour wonder, “What’s the point in coming out?” sometimes?

Hey Sophie,
I think some of ‘em feel that way, but at least a few think they can take him on a given day, but over the long haul, he’s head and shoulders above the rest of ‘em.
Thanks for stopping by.
