Many people work hard, but most do not suffer the cruelties Iditarod dogs are forced to endure. What happens to the dogs during the Iditarod includes: death, paralysis, penile frostbite, bleeding ulcers, bloody diarrhea, lung damage, pneumonia, ruptured discs, viral diseases, broken bones, torn muscles and tendons, vomiting, hypothermia, sprains, fur loss, broken teeth, torn footpads and anemia.

I think the whole point system is pretty screwy as is. Give us a real elimination playoff. I want to see a real putt for 10 million.
