Did you see the Toronto Star news story about Paul Tracy suffering a broken right shoulder blade after a drunken ride on a golf cart.
I’m guessing he doesn’t know how powerful those carts are. They’ll bite you, if you don’t handle ‘em right.
Tracy, the Champ Car star, might have to miss the season finale after the accident near Las Vegas on Oct. 28, the newspaper reported.
Tracy suffered the injury after a golf cart he was driving landed on top of him after he tried to jump a sand dune, the Star reported.
Golf carts don’t usually have seat belts and are about as aerodynamically balanced as a doghouse.
” Sorry to say it was self-inflicted, ” Tracy said, the newspaper reported. ” I was at a party and had a little too much to drink, and we thought it was a good idea to go out on a golf cart and try and jump some sand dunes with it. ”
NOW he knows that golf carts have teeth !
