I play here twice a week and love it, and there is not 9 holes that you can easily hit the ball in the water so dont get the wrong idea, the 1st hole you shouldnt use a driver, a 3 or 5 wood is more then fine, i tee off with a 4 hybrid. 2nd is a par 3 over water so its semi hard, 5th u can hit in the water on ur 2nd shot if u slice bad, 6th hole if u dont club down or hit over the bunkers you will end up in the water, 11th has a ditch on the right side, with some nasty spots, 12th par 3 is over water, 13 if u top ur ball its gone most likely, 14 is over a small ditch/creek on ur 2nd shot, 16 17 18 if u end up in the water its like hitting in another fairway from a tee shot. the 6th hole is a 334 yard hole from the white, so i play the white there so i can drive over the cartpath and end up on or close to the green, my favorite hole there. also the bunkers are better than every course ive ever played

Actually haven’t been there since this review was written in April of 2006, David.

I actually loved it and need to go back as soon as I can before the winter sets in here in our part of the country.

I’ll call a buddy of mine and try to get there in the next 2-3 weeks and re-review this golf gem.

I was wondering if you played this course in 2008. If not, you should have played it and updated your review. Their greens are the absolute best I have ever putted on. This course has really matured.
