Another Canadian Golf Blog?

Can you believe there’s another Canadian golf blog out there ? Who’d have thought those guys could even play golf ? Isn’t there like permafrost on the ground for like 11 months and 2 weeks every year ?
My new golf blog friend, Sean ” The Wild Man ” Crogie has a great looking golf blog and a unique perspective.
Drop by his golf blog and let him know Mike sent you !

I work on a golf course in a high end golf course in Arizona and it just amazes me that most Canadians who visit DO NOT take the time to tip even one dollar to the outside service staff that takes care of them. Not All Canadians do this there are some very nice and good tippers out there but the majority do not tip. As an outside service attendent I do the following: I take your bag out of your car and put it on the cart (so you never have to carry your bag), I set the range for you (we have balls prepared and ready to go on the range), I set towels, and cups in your cart for you. Wehn you complete your round it is respectfull that you allow me to clean your clubs and should tip me at least 2 dollars for each bag cleaned. If you payed over 100-200 dollars for you golf you should have two bucks to tip the attendent. you had enough cash to make it to Arizona and play a hign-end course - how come you don’t have two bucks to tip us? It is even worse when some of you let me clean your clubs and then still do not tip me. Also please stop using the worst excuse to not tip: “these clubs don’t deserve cleaning” is that supposed to be funny?
And if you don’t tip us - I hope you did not leave a phone, or something else in the cart cuz we may not take the time to make sure it is returned to you. We don’t steal anything but I may not run out to your car and flag you down before you take off to the airport!
So please if you are a golfer coming to visit us in the USA please tip the staff that is working hard at this low paying job or just stay in Canada for the Winter!
I hope they get the message, Navsav.
I don’t want my bag touched or my clubs either, but I’d tip you to leave them and me alone !
