Links To Some Great Golf Course Reviews And Photos
Just in case you don’t already read Robert Thompson’s Going For The Green, I’m gonna leak some link leaks all over him and try to get you to read his blog and subscribe to his RSS feed.
First, he takes us to Saskatoon and Riverside Golf and CC in Sakatchewan and then to Kawartha Golf and CC, Peterborough, Ontario. Uh, yes, they are both in Canada and yes, they play golf up there.
Then Robert gives us some updates on Canadian golf and some of the lates news about courses, comings, goings, rumors and such.
Last, but in no way least, are some photos of cold golfers and cold golf courses.
Sorry Robert, but it’s in the 70’s down here and so are my scores !
Come see us !

Some Thoughts About The Champions Tour
I just read a post over at Green Posse that spoke about the health of The Champions Tour.
I really enjoy watching these guys play, simply because I can hit the ball the same distance or longer than they do, I watched them play in their primes, they are only 7 to 17 years older than I am and they are not as standoffish as the prima donnas on the flatbelly tour.
Go by and visit Green Posse as I give them a little link leak and leave a comment with your thoughts.
PS - Wanna know what link leak is ? Here’s the definition of link leak.

Brush Tee Review By Fellow Golf Blogger
I just noticed a review of the Brush Tee by a fellow golf blogger.
I’ll give him the Link Leak Virus and let you click on that to see his post.
PS - The Link Leak Virus is simply an anchor tag used to track the number of links to a certain page. It’s really a good thing to catch and you can read all about the Link Leak Virus by ckicking that link.

Golf Travel In Thailand

I recently added a new golf blog to my Blog Roll. It’s called Thailand Golf Blog. Mark Siegel, of Bangkok, writes it and I asked him to introduce himself to us.
I started writing this blog to be able to share all of my experiences and information about playing golf and traveling in Thailand. Many golfers may not think of Thailand as their first golf holiday destination. However, after reading up on this great country, I hope that more people will choose to play in Thailand and have a great time in the process. This blog will cover my personal, and other contributor’s, experiences about playing golf in Thailand. Special tips and advice, cultural and golf course information, and holiday and vacation planning along with first hand expert knowledge will be shared. I welcome all questions and comments and am glad to share any information so everyone can enjoy playing golf and other activities in Thailand.
Have a nice day and remember birdie is better than par !

Indian Hills Country Club
I recently had the opportunity to play Indian Hills Country Club, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was a Chamber of Commerce Scramble and I enjoyed it as much as any scramble I’ve ever played.
Several things contributed to this enjoyment :
1) The course was in tremnedous shape. Especially considering how wet of a spring we’ve had here in south central Kentucky.
2) The greens were PGA Tour quality. May have been in the top 3 of all greens I’ve ever had the good fortune to play.
3) The course was well designed. The architect did a fantastic job of varying the lengths of par 3’s and the difficulty of the par 4’s and 5’s.
4) My playing partners were as good a group of guys as has ever been assembled. Charlie Henry of Lee Brick & Block in Bowling Green, KY. Jim Ivey of RBS Design Group Architects in Owensboro, KY and Barry Bland of BA Architecture Associates, Bowling Green, KY.
5) The weather was as bad as you could have dreaded…until we started to play and then it turned into an outstanding day for golf.
If you ever get the chance to play this 50 year old gem, don’t hesitate to give it a try.

Megan’s Golfing Journeys

I recently found a new golf blog, thru a comment left on a post. The commenter happened to be a professional golfer, Megan Heckeroth.
She was kind enough to comment and then respond to my response to her. Kinda what a blogs all about, huh ?
Then she was generous enough to offer to keep us updated during her next 3 weeks of playing in Europe.
Switzerland, France & Holland ! Who’d have thought we would have ever gotten updates like this from a real Travelling Golfer ! She’ll be giving us some tips on where she play, places to eat and sites to see. We’re lucky she’s generous with her time and talent and if you’ve got a golf blog and read this post or any of the one’s to come, you absolutely have to link to these posts and to her blog. It’s the least we can do.
Thanks for being so kind to us Megan, I appreciate it immensely and we’ll try our best to get you all the exposure we can. Maybe there’s a sponsor out there looking for a young golfer to help out.
